Do you ever put off doing something for and with your kids ? I know I do sometimes. I sometimes take it for granted that I would have another chance to do it at a later time. However, life is unpredictable . An example of this is the sad story of Osman Diallo.
Mr. Diallo was a shop owner ,father, and husband. He came from Africa to seek a better life for his family. He was a well liked family man. Everyday, he showed his friends a picture of his daughter ,who was born in January,he never met. He was shot to death in a botched robbery this week. You can find the entire story at nydailynews.com .
He did not die in vain;we can take a lesson from his life. We are very fortunate to have our family with us ,and we should cherish every day we get to spent with our family. Life is short;we are not guaranteed another year, another month, anther day or even another hour. Take advantage of you life before your death. When you have to take an action think to yourself if this was your last action would you do it the same way you are about to do it.
Take advantage of the time you have with your kids. There are times in your life when you will become busy and your family will have to wait on you. However, when your time free up, GIVE them their time. Our children grows up in a blink of an eye. Just the other day my daughter was laying on her back and today she is moves as fast as a train. Your kids will leave your so realize that the time you spend with them today will be priceless tomorrow. The more love show them today, the more they will love you tomorrow.
Mr.Diallo did not die in vain.
Do something everyday.
